Large fabric ribbon/drapery for ceiling??
It's not tulle.. I don't want to buy yards and yards of fabric because it's skinnier than that.. but much much larger than a little ribbon.. it's like big thick (1 foot) strands of ribbon that people put from the ceiling sweeping downward..
same thing that they do with tulle but I don't want to use tulle..
does anybody have a picture of this I can show a fabric store or does anybody know what it is called so I can search for it???
I am guessing it was custom made, probably some one bought yards of fabric had it cut and sewed tot he size they wanted to fit the reception site.
You can buy bolts of fabric online and cut them your self, probably get three rows per width of fabric and then cut to what ever lenght you want. You no-sew heming tale to keep it looking clean to the eye.

Sequins Ribbon

what adhesive works on clothing?
i need to glue beading, sequins and ribbon to a shirt, the look i want wont look good if i hand stitch everything. the employees at Joanns here in town have NO CLUE as to helping people with arts and crafts questions. what i want is an adhesive that is permanant. i dont want it to wash out. any suggestions? the glue i have used to test is Aleene's original tacky glue, and it does NOT work. any suggestions???
There is a glue made for attaching sequins and beads, and I think Aleenes actuallly does make a form of it. Not the tacky glue, but one marked specifically for sequins, beads and shisha mirrors. The problem with all of these type glues is that they really don't form a good bond or they will make the fabric very stiff in that spot. Worst case, I actually had some that took the coating off the beads. I know you don't think it will look good if you stitch it, but have you considered or used the clear thread? They do have improved versions that are much softer than the old fishing line stuff. Gutterman makes a really nice one, though I'm sure the other major thread companies do as well. The clear versions won't even be visible, and at least the thread will survive a wash or dry clean. The glue often doesn't, even when it says it's specifically for sequins and fabric.

Ribbon Sequins

Cheerleading Bows!!!!!!!!?
Hi there!
im making bows for my middle school cheer team, i wanted to know if any one had ideas, we are purple, bright gold, and white. please include sequins, zebra paws anything,
and where can you get iron on paw prints on the internet?
and sequin ribbon,
and will iron ons stick to grosgrain ribbon?
Thanks!
I am sure that you can get iron on paw prints at any craft store like Micheal's (in the northeast). You should get a large purple ribbon, and then glue a thinner bright gold on top of the ribbon with white sequins on the gold ribbon. Then on the ends of the ribbon, iron on the zebra paws. That would look wicked cute. That is the kind of thing that we did at my allstar cheer leading place.

something like that, except with the paws on the ends.
